Just a reminder that Westland’s Back to School Night is tomorrow, Thursday Sept. 17th. The action gets underway at 5:30pm with the PTA Expo in the cafeteria. You can:

* Find out about Ed-Line
* Sign up for after-school programs
* Buy a music department discount card
* Register for our community partnerships with Giant, Safeway, and
Target
* Bring in your Snider’s grocery receipts
* Learn about our ink cartridge refill/recycling partnership with
Wordex
* Buy Sally Foster gift wrap to benefit Westland’s technology programs
* Shop at the School Store

Those parents whose children participate in Westland’s music program (choral or instrumental) will head off to a brief music dept meeting at 6:45 in the band room. And then at 7:00, the “school day” starts. You’ll follow your child’s schedule, meet his or her teachers, and even enjoy a very light “lunch” courtesy of the PTA. It’s a busy evening, but a great opportunity to get everything on your Westland “to-do” list taken care of in one fell swoop!

Bring your Giant card, and your Snider’s receipts, and your checkbook, but most importantly bring your enthusiasm and excitement about the new school
year and a chance to see old friends and meet new ones!
